Mostafa Nouraei

Mostafa Nouraei received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with rank 3 from IKIU, Iran in August 2019. During his years of undergraduate study, he researched the static and dynamic responses of polymer nanocomposite structures analytically which led to several journal papers. He started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Liaghat. He is the first ranked student at TMU and his research mainly concentrates on the mechanical behavior and impact responses of Alumina reinforced elastomer nanocomposites with both experimental and numerical methods.

Mohammad Kazerooni Haghighat

Mohammad K. Haghighat started his M.Sc. in Tarbiat Modares University in 2019. He has finished his undergraduate education in Yazd University. Also, he has researched on Motion Capture in Yazd University Biomechanics Laboratory. Now he is doing research on composites under high velocity impact in Tarbiat Modares University Impact Mechanics Laboratory under Dr. Hamed Ahmadi’s supervision and title of his dissertation is “Experimental and numerical analysis of high velocity impact on tanks protected by Hybrid Kevlar-Rubber Composites”.

Ali Abbasian Boroujeni

Ali Abbasian Boroujeni started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Liaghat, and he is currently working on his thesis in Impact Mechanics Lab (IML). His researches mainly focus on characterizations of Magnetorhelogical Elastomer (MRE) plates subjected to high velocity impact.. He received his B.Cs degree in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Iran, in january 2019

Sepehr Fallah

Sepehr Fallah received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from AUT, Tehran, Iran in September 2019. His research area during bachelor was focused on comparison between thermoplastic and thermoset Composites and their mechanical properties. He started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Liaghat. and did his research on low velocity impact sandwich panels with elastomeric foam core and thermoplastic surfaces with both experimental and numerical methods.

Seyed Sajjad Barzigar

Seyed Sajjad Barzigar started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Ahmadi, and he is currently working on his thesis in Impact Mechanics Lab (IML). He is the second-ranked student at TMU, and his researches mainly focus on sandwich structures and their applications on pedestrian protection of engine hood. He is also working on the crushing behavior of empty and foam-filled functionally graded thickness thin-walled structures. He received his B.Cs degree in Mechanical Engineering from Noshirvani University of Technology (NIT), Iran, in September 2019.

Bahram Zoghi

Bahram Zoghi received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from IKIU, Iran in August 2019. During his years of undergraduate study, he was responsible for ASPA lab (Electric and Hybrid vehicle). He has worked as a member of vice presidency for science and technology and power research institute as a technical expert in electric vehicle division. He started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Dr Hamed Ahmadi. His research mainly concentrates on the low and high velocity impact on electric vehicle Lithium ion battery pack with both experimental and numerical methods.

Mehdi Shadman

Mehdi Shadman received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran (UT), Tehran, Iran, in August 2018. During his undergraduate studies, he was focused on renewable energy (wind resource assessment in particular) and optimization of energy systems. He started his Master’s program at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) in September 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Ahmadi alongside the favor of advising Prof. Mirzaali (assistant professor of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft)) and prof. Liaghat. His researches are currently concentrated on material design and metamaterials, including semi-auxetic structures.

 


Morteza Talatiem

Morteza Talati-Ahmad holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Semnan University, Iran (August 2022). During his undergraduate studies, he conducted a fatigue test on Metamaterial structures produced through additive manufacturing. Additionally, his research included the creation of a rabbit tibia bone using biomaterial and subjected it to compression load testing, resulting in multiple journal papers. Currently pursuing a Master's at Tarbiat Modares University, his research under Prof. Liaghat and Dr. Ahmadi explores the mechanical behavior and impact responses of additively manufactured materials and topology optimization, utilizing both experimental and numerical methods.
