Proper material selection and optimum design of structures play a vital role in maximizing the equipment performance in different areas including automation, military, marine, and medical industry. Such outstanding properties as ease of production, high stiffness, installation convenience, and resistance to environmental threats have always been matters of concern to be addressed.
At the Impact Mechanics Laboratory, we are using multifaceted design approaches as well as state-of-the-art facilities to meet the industries’ demands through close collaboration with our students.
